Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of MyLivingPage.com and describe your rights, obligations, and legal relationship with MyLivingPage.

Service Overview

MyLivingPage.com provides A web application where people create and manage resume-based living pages containing text, photos, links, exports, analytics, and public sharing controls.

Features may include account management, content sharing controls, reminders, exports, and optional integrations with third-party services.

Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for activities under your account.
  • You must promptly notify us of unauthorized access or suspected compromise.

Free Service and Legacy Billing

MyLivingPage currently provides one living resume, public hosting, PDF exports, Share Cards, themes, targeted versions, and analytics without a subscription or payment card. We do not offer new paid plans at this time.

If you previously started a paid subscription, Stripe may continue processing its recurring charges until you cancel it in account settings. Current free access does not depend on keeping that legacy subscription.

Legacy Subscription Cancellation and Refunds

  • These billing terms apply only if your account still has a legacy paid subscription.
  • You may cancel a legacy subscription at any time from the Stripe customer billing portal linked in account settings.
  • Cancellation stops future renewals and generally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Your access to the current free Service remains available.
  • Except where required by applicable law, previously charged fees are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.
  • If you delete your account, any active legacy subscription is canceled before account deletion is finalized.

Legacy Payment Status

A failed or declined charge may affect only a legacy subscription. It does not remove current free access to the core Service. We may retry a failed legacy charge through our payment processor in accordance with processor rules.

Future Optional Paid Services

If we later introduce an optional paid service, we will clearly disclose its price, billing period, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms before collecting billing information, and we will require your express authorization before charging you. These Terms do not authorize charges for the currently free Service.

Third-Party Services

  • Stripe (legacy subscription records and billing portal, where applicable)
  • Supabase (authentication, database, and object storage)
  • Vercel (application hosting and delivery)
  • Google OAuth (optional social sign-in)

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and may update independently of our Service.

Service License, Trademarks, and Feedback

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your personal or internal business use.

You may not use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written permission. If you submit feedback or suggestions, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that feedback to improve the Service.

Content Controls and Visibility

You can manage visibility settings for your content where available. Private content is intended for account-only access, link-share content is accessible to anyone with the link, and public content is broadly visible and may be indexed.

These terms apply to your access to and use of MyLivingPage.com and related services, websites, applications, APIs, exports, and support channels operated by MyLivingPage.

  • Maintain account security and keep credentials confidential.
  • Comply with applicable laws and third-party rights.
  • Review AI-generated outputs and verify accuracy before sharing or relying on them.

  • Illegal activity, facilitation of crime, or publication of unlawful content.
  • Doxxing, stalking, or disclosure of personal information without lawful basis.
  • Scraping, data harvesting, spamming, malware distribution, or unauthorized automation.

User Content License

You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, adapt, and display your User Content solely to operate, secure, improve, and provide the Service according to your sharing settings and instructions, including serving public pages and shared links you choose to publish.

You represent that you have all rights needed to upload and share your User Content. You may report abusive, infringing, or unlawful content at support@mylivingpage.com. We may remove or restrict reported content and cooperate with lawful requests.

Sharing and Public Indexing

If you set content to public or share public links, that information may be accessible to anyone and may be crawled or indexed by search engines. You are responsible for selecting and reviewing visibility settings before publishing.

AI-Assisted Features

AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or inappropriate for your context. You must independently verify outputs before relying on them. Do not rely on AI output as legal, medical, financial, tax, safety, or other professional advice.

Do not submit highly sensitive personal data, privileged information, trade secrets, or confidential material to AI Features unless your own legal and compliance review approves it.

Moderation Rights

We may review, remove, disable access to, or refuse to publish content that we reasonably believe violates these policies, law, or platform safety requirements. We may also suspend features or accounts during investigation.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, legal requirements, abuse risks, unpaid amounts tied to a paid service you expressly chose, or security concerns. Sections that by nature should survive termination will survive.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyLivingPage disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, title, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyLivingPage and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.

Any aggregate liability related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $100 if no fees were paid, unless applicable law prohibits this limitation.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MyLivingPage, its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of law or these policies.

Dispute Resolution

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us and attempt informal resolution for at least 30 days.

If informal resolution does not resolve the dispute, claims will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except either party may bring eligible claims in small claims court.

You and we each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in class or representative actions, to the maximum extent permitted by law. If this waiver is unenforceable for a claim, that claim proceeds in court and the remaining claims stay in arbitration.

Governing Law

These policies are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, excluding conflict of law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.

Changes

We may update policies from time to time. Updated versions will be posted with a new Last updated date. Continued use of the Service after updates means you accept the revised terms.
